Anyone can add a blog post to Daddy Outpost. This guide will show you the ins-and-out on how to do it.
After logging into Daddy Outpost, click on the "Blog" tab. What you should see now is the dashboard for all of your Daddy Outpost blog contributions. Here you can choose to view all of your blog entries, preferences and statistics, and all comments on your blog postings. The tab at the far right, "Write new entry," is where the magic happens, but more on that later.

My Entries
The tab labeled "My Entries" is the heart and soul of your blog. All posts, pending or published, will be listed here in chronological order. From here, you can edit a post or delete a post entirely. To delete a post, simply click on "Delete" next to the post you want removed and then verify the action in the dialogue box that appears. Voila! The post is now deleted - and unrecoverable.
To edit a post, click on "Edit" next to the applicable post. A pop-up window will appear where you can make many changes to the selected post. The initial view allows for edits to the title and content, as well as the publish status and date, the post category, and the permalink. Clicking on the "Meta info" tab provides access to the keywords and description of the blog post if you choose to add any.
Clicking the "Tags" subsection below the "Publishing Options" box opens up the tag entry tool, where you can assign tags with your post by entering them in the space provided and clicking the plus icon. Alternatively, you can use the tag selector by clicking on the
"Browse" tab, where existing tags are able to be assigned to your post via checkboxes.

Managing images and documents related to a post can be done by clicking on the "Images and Documents" subsection. The "Browse" tab allows you to look for images on the server, while the "Uplaod" tab allows for uploading of images to the server from your computer. Click on the "Browse..." button, locate the file on your computer, and click on the "Upload" button. Additionally, you can select the auto-resize checkbox upon uploading.
Linking to older posts is easily done by clicking on the "Search older posts" subsection. Enter search terms in the box and press the icon to produce results. The post you want to reference can be dragged into the editor, instanly producing a link.
Clicking on the "Embed Videos" subsection opens up the video embed dialogue, where you can set the video dimensions and URL. Click on the icon to submit the video and the code is automatically added to your post.
The final subsection, "Trackbacks and Comments," allows for management of both trackbacks and comments. Trackback URLs can be added to a post via the "Trackbacks" tab. The comments tab offers the option to enable or disable comments on a post.
Preferences
The preferences tab allows you to name your blog and to provide a detailed description of it. After you make the edits desired, click on the "Save" button to keep the changes.

Statistics
The statistics tab displays basic statistics for your blog, including the total number of entries, total comments, total hits and tags used
on your blog. This is for informational purposes only and cannot be edited.
Comments
The Comments tab displays all comments that have been made on your blog.
Write New Entry
To add a new post to your blog, click on the far right tab entitled, "Write New Entry." A pop-up window will appear that is identical to
the edit window, except that everything is blank. To get started, simply add a blog title and begin writing. You have the option to
enter your post in plain text (which will require you to manually enter all HTML tags) or rich text (which will automatically handle all
HTML for you).
To modify any part of the post, select the applicable subsection on the right.
